Vincent handles Talladega County Central

The Vincent Yellow Jackets pulled away from Talladega County Central in the second quarter to take a 64-36 victory Dec. 17.

The Yellow Jackets (9-2, 4-0) led by six after the first quarter, then scored 27 points in the second to take a 45-18 lead at the half.

Anterio Rogers led all scorers with 24 points with seven rebounds, seven assists and six steals while shooting 11-for-15 from the field. E.J. Datcher added 11 points with two blocks.

Jace Green scored 10 points for the Yellow Jackets.

Vincent returns to action Dec. 20 against Shelby County at 7:30 p.m. in the second round of the Shelby County tournament.
