George W. Weldon, Jr., age 88, of Chelsea, passed away Thursday, March 26.

The private family graveside service will be Monday, March 30 at Mt. Signal Cemetery with Bro. Mike Kiker officiating. Bolton Funeral Home is directing.

Mr. Weldon worked for the Iron Workers Local 92.

Mr. Weldon is preceded in death by his son, David Weldon.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Sarah R. Weldon; daughters, Denise Weldon Smith and Dawn Weldon Arnold (Mike); grandchildren, Joshua Arnold (Leslie), Jonathan Arnold (Molly), and Jenna Runge (Kenton); great grandchildren, Graham Weldon Arnold, Henry Arnold, Leo Arnold, Kayson Runge and Cade Runge, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
